Thomasville sits just over the Florida-Georgia line, a short drive north of Tallahassee and well inside the service radius Power On Generators covers every day. Known for its canopied streets, historic downtown, and the rose gardens that gave it its nickname, Thomasville is one of our favorite towns to work in. Our Generac Elite Plus dealer status and our 22 years of generator-specialist experience do not stop at the state border. If your Thomas County home or small business needs reliable standby power, we are your team.
Thomasville shares most of its weather story with Tallahassee: hurricane remnants that push inland, severe thunderstorms through the spring and summer, and the occasional winter ice event that tends to hit Georgia harder than Florida. Ice storms and heavy tree cover are a tough combination for overhead lines, and multi-day outages are not unheard of. A properly sized Generac standby generator turns those outages into something you hardly notice.
Generator-specialty companies are rare in any market, and Thomasville is no exception. Many local options are general electrical contractors who install generators occasionally. Power On has been doing generators exclusively since 2004, from our Midway shop just down US-319. That focus, combined with our Generac Elite Plus dealer status, gives Thomasville customers a level of expertise that is hard to match locally.
Call 850-422-2232 or send a message through our contact form to schedule a free in-home consultation. We already run regular routes across the Georgia line, and we are glad to add your property to the next one.
