Service Area

Our Service Area

Power On Generators is headquartered at 1295 Commerce Blvd in Midway, Florida, just west of Tallahassee. From that central location, our trucks reach roughly a 100-mile radius across North Florida and into South Georgia. That coverage footprint is a deliberate choice. It is big enough to serve the entire Tallahassee metro plus the surrounding counties and coastal communities, and small enough that our crews can respond quickly when the next storm hits.

Communities We Serve

We group our installation and service appointments by location, which means our trucks are in your neighborhood more often. Here are some of the communities where we work regularly:

• Tallahassee, FL and the wider Leon County metro
• Midway, FL (our home base)
• Crawfordville and the rest of Wakulla County
• Monticello and Jefferson County
• Madison, FL and surrounding communities
• St. George Island, Apalachicola, and the Franklin County coast
• Quincy and the rest of Gadsden County
• Thomasville, GA and parts of South Georgia

If your town is not on that list and you are within reach of Tallahassee, call us anyway. We routinely take on projects in communities outside the core radius when the fit is right.

Why the 100-Mile Radius

Honest answer: it is the distance where we can still give customers the same-week response time we are known for. A generator that needs service after a hurricane should not wait a month for a truck. By staying inside that service footprint, we can keep maintenance visits on schedule, repair visits fast, and installations on a realistic timeline. We would rather serve a region well than stretch thin across the Southeast.

Built for Florida Storm Country

North Florida sits in the middle of hurricane country, with tornado risk, severe thunderstorms, and the occasional winter ice event layered on top. Our service area was shaped by that weather. The inland counties face long hurricane tracks and extended outages. The coastal communities face surge, saltwater corrosion, and evacuation cycles. Thomasville and points north face ice storms that can knock out power for days. A Power On generator and a Power On service plan are built for all of it.
